Our take
WG625.9 is a portable battery-platform cleaner with a 20-foot hose and a five-setting nozzle. It is best compared with other light rinsing tools, with battery cost and its discontinued status checked before purchase.
A lightweight rinse-and-clean option for buyers who need fresh-water portability and already have a compatible WORX 20-volt battery..
Choose a conventional washer if you need high listed flow, a gas-powered work setup, or a model still presented by WORX as current.
Pros & cons
What could work for you, and what to consider before buying.
What works in its favor
- WORX lists 415 PSI maximum and 320 PSI rated pressure instead of leaving the pressure basis ambiguous.
- The official page lists 0.5 GPM, a 20-foot hose, five spray settings and water-source flexibility.
- The bare tool weighs 2.8 pounds, and WORX says 3.7 pounds with battery and lance installed.
What to weigh up
- WG625.9 does not include a battery or charger, so tool-only buyers need a compatible Power Share battery and charger.
- At 0.5 GPM and 320 PSI rated, its documented output is far below the gas models designed around multiple gallons per minute.
- WORX marks the tool-only model discontinued; the old ASIN, seller condition and exact offer package are unverified.

Full review: how the features affect your choice
What the features mean for you
A portable cleaner, not a high-flow comparison
WORX lists 415 PSI maximum pressure, 320 PSI rated pressure and 0.5 GPM for WG625.9. The separation between maximum and rated pressure is useful, but this is still a low-flow portable cleaner rather than a high-flow gas washer. A buyer looking to rinse mud from a vehicle, patio item or gear may value portability; a buyer who needs a faster-moving volume of water for larger work should compare a different class of equipment. These specifications do not promise a cleaning time or result. Use the right spray pattern and distance for the material, and follow the maker's fresh-water instructions.
Battery platform and included kit
The product page identifies a 20-volt Max Power Share battery platform, but WG625.9 is explicitly the tool-only configuration. WORX says a battery and charger are not included. That can suit a current owner of compatible Power Share equipment, while a first-time buyer needs to account for those components separately and verify compatibility with the exact offer. The page describes a 2.8-pound machine weight and says the tool weighs 3.7 pounds with battery and lance installed. Compare the configured weight rather than treating the bare-tool number as the whole working setup.
Hose, nozzle and water source
WORX lists a 20-foot hose and one five-setting multi-spray nozzle with several spray patterns and a watering setting. It also says the Hydroshot can draw from a fresh-water source, which gives the user an option where a fixed tap is not convenient. This flexibility should not be confused with a high-flow supply or with compatibility with every aftermarket accessory; the page cautions that other accessories may not work as intended at this lower flow. The source does not state hose diameter or count separate quick-connect tips. Check the fittings and water-source instructions before planning a specific setup.
Handling, water temperature and storage
The compact weight and 20-foot hose point to a portable setup, but the model page does not provide overall dimensions or a machine-cart footprint. WORX permits water up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit and says to use fresh water; that limit is a practical boundary for any source that is not ordinary tap water. The bare tool weight is 2.8 pounds, while the complete working setup with battery and lance is listed as 3.7 pounds. Store the hose, lance and battery as separate pieces where needed, and do not infer that the machine's small weight means it has conventional pressure-washer output.
Discontinued status and model identity
WORX marks the WG625.9 tool-only Hydroshot discontinued on its US product page. That status does not say that every remaining offer is unavailable, but it means current condition, seller, battery inclusion and warranty need careful checking. The page documents the model; it does not map the historical source ASIN to a current listing. The purchase link therefore searches for WG625.9 and identifies the tool-only configuration. Compare any result against the battery, charger, hose and nozzle information rather than relying on a similar WG625 kit or another Hydroshot generation.
