Our take
WTO450 is a conventional manual oven with a clear three-dial layout, a documented four-item toast arrangement, and timed cycles that ring and turn off. Its fit and temperature evidence remains limited.
The booklet illustrates two- and four-item toast layouts, not a maximum; it gives no pizza diameter..
Not for buyers who require a six-slice maximum, measured pizza or pan fit, or a complete adjustable temperature range.
Pros & cons
What could work for you, and what to consider before buying.
What works in its favor
- The booklet separates Function, Temperature, and Timer/Toast Shade roles.
- Toast, Bake, and Broil have distinct operating notes and preheat guidance.
- A 30-minute bell/automatic-off cycle, 120 V / 1,500 W rating, and four-inch clearance are stated.
What to weigh up
- Four toast items are shown, but no maximum slice count is published.
- No pizza diameter, pan footprint, or outside dimensions are given.
- The old WTO450SIL code and brushed-steel finish are not linked to this booklet.

What the features mean for you
A simple three-dial control arrangement
The Waring-authored booklet identifies the WTO450 and gives separate Function and Temperature dials plus a combined Timer/Toast Shade control. That layout is the clearest way to compare this model with ovens that use a digital menu or multipurpose panel. The guide documents Toast, Bake, and Broil. Toast does not need a preheat; Bake calls for five minutes; Broil uses the door ajar and leaves the lower heater off. The manual lists a reversible rack, removable crumb tray, and a bake pan as parts, but a manual parts list is not a promise about a present seller's box. The review describes instructions rather than observed cooking performance.
A four-item toast layout is an example, not a maximum
The booklet shows both two-item and four-item toast arrangements. The four-item picture is useful for a buyer who regularly prepares a small batch, yet the source does not call it a maximum slice capacity. No pizza diameter, measured pan footprint, or cavity dimensions are published. The rack and baking pan are named, but no footprint allows a firm cookware-fit test. For a hard six-slice requirement or a particular casserole, this packet therefore leaves fit unknown. It does not use a title clue, nominal oven size, or accessory illustration to invent a larger capacity.
Timed cycles and Oven On are different choices
A timed cycle can run through 30 minutes, ring a bell, and turn the oven off automatically. The separate Oven On position bypasses that timed end point, and the guide warns against operating the appliance unattended. That difference matters more than simply seeing a timer knob: a user choosing an automatic stop needs the timed setting, while continuous operation requires a person to manage shutoff. The booklet also says not to leave the oven unattended. It gives one 450°F/Broil/Toast mark, but that mark is not a full temperature range and does not establish a 450°F Bake setting.
Electrical and countertop instructions are concrete
The Waring booklet lists 120 V AC and 1,500 W, a polarized plug, two rack levels, and four inches of space at the sides, back, and top. It describes use on a counter or table and prohibits operation under a wall cabinet or inside an appliance garage. These instructions can help a shopper decide whether the location is suitable, but they do not give outside measurements. The four-inch gap should not be confused with the oven's width or depth. A buyer with limited overhead space should account for the manual's top spacing as well as the footprint of the appliance.
Keep the model and seller variant separate
The booklet cover prints WTO450. A frozen retailer record carries a WTO450SIL field and brushed-stainless wording, but no saved source crosswalks that suffix, finish, or historical ASIN to this exact booklet or a current seller offer. The customer-facing review therefore names WTO450 alone and links an exact-code Amazon search. The source does not establish a maximum slice count, full temperature range, external dimensions, or exact package contents. Those unknowns should remain visible when comparing it with a larger or more tightly specified oven. This is a useful control-and-timer profile, not a general quality ranking.
What else to compare
Compare Proctor Silex 31116 for a simpler Toast/Bake/Broil guide, or Cuisinart TOB-1010MB for a stated six-slice and 11-inch-pizza fit.
Before you buy
How many toast items does the booklet show?
It illustrates two-item and four-item arrangements, but does not state a maximum slice capacity.
Does the manual establish a 9-inch pizza or pan fit?
No. The booklet does not publish a pizza diameter or measured pan footprint.
Does the timer always switch WTO450 off?
A timed cycle rings and shuts off; the separate Oven On position does not use that timed endpoint.
