Our take
G-MP01 brings one USB-C and two USB-A ports to a desktop case front, but only when the case and motherboard provide the required bay and both internal headers. Use GRAUGEAR's 10Gbps USB-C specification and retain Amazon's conflicting title claim.
A desktop builder with the required bay and both internal headers who wants front access to one USB-C and two USB-A connections..
Someone looking for a portable external hub, a laptop adapter, a one-header installation, HDMI, Ethernet or card reading.
Pros & cons
What could work for you, and what to consider before buying.
What works in its favor
- Amazon and GRAUGEAR identify the exact G-MP01 model and ASIN.
- The official port list gives one USB-C and two USB-A ports with separate speed ratings.
- The 3.5-inch bay and both required motherboard headers are documented.
What to weigh up
- It needs a free 3.5-inch bay plus both a 19-pin USB 3.0 and a 20-pin Key-A header.
- Amazon's 20Gbps USB-C title conflicts with the official 10Gbps specification.
- No display, Ethernet, card reader or host-charging feature is listed.

Full review: how the features affect your choice
What the features mean for you
A case-mounted panel, not a loose desktop dongle
G-MP01 installs into an open 3.5-inch bay on a desktop case and brings one USB-C and two USB-A ports to the front. That placement can make a tower easier to use when rear motherboard connections are hard to reach. It is a different kind of hub from a cable-fed portable adapter: this product is mounted in the case and connects internally to the motherboard. The datasheet lists a metal panel and mounting screws, so plan for installation and check the case layout before purchase. It does not add monitor or network connections; its purpose is convenient access to USB peripherals at the front of a PC.
Check for both motherboard headers before ordering
GRAUGEAR calls for an internal USB 3.0 19-pin header and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Key-A 20-pin header. A board with only one of those connectors may not support the complete panel as described. Compare the motherboard manual and cable plugs with the official requirements; the number of external USB ports does not tell you whether internal wiring fits. The panel also occupies a free 3.5-inch bay and is secured with screws. If the case has no available bay, a spare internal header alone does not provide a mounting location. This installation check is the most important buying step.
Use the model-specific rates and note the source conflict
The G-MP01 datasheet states up to 10Gbps for USB-C and up to 5Gbps for each USB-A port. Amazon's title for B09XV6XDLJ instead says 20Gbps for USB-C. Because GRAUGEAR's official page and PDF agree on 10Gbps for this specific part, this review records that lower documented figure and preserves the mismatch as a warning. Do not assume 20Gbps from the Amazon title alone. These are interface claims, not measured throughput, and transfers depend on the connected host header, device and cable. If 20Gbps is essential, ask the seller to confirm the package revision.
Leave monitor, card and charging tasks to another product
The external panel exposes USB data ports. Its official port list does not include HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet, SD/MicroSD readers or USB-C Power Delivery. A front USB-C socket should not be confused with a display adapter or laptop charging input. This can be an appropriate addition for a desktop user who wants to connect a thumb drive, mouse or other USB peripheral without reaching around the case. It will not turn a USB-C port into a monitor connection or powered docking station. Compare a multiport dock only if those broader functions matter.
Measure the bay position and cable route
The datasheet gives the panel dimensions as 102 × 102 × 25 mm and lists 60 cm internal leads. Check the case bay opening and motherboard header locations to confirm the included cables reach without crossing fans or other components. The unit weighs 180 g, a useful reference when planning installation, although the source does not provide vibration or durability testing. The official page lists Windows support but does not establish behavior for every operating system or motherboard. These physical and system details help determine whether the panel can be installed cleanly before a buyer opens the case.
Who should consider the G-MP01
This model may suit a desktop owner who has a free 3.5-inch bay and both required motherboard headers, and who wants quick access to one USB-C and two USB-A connections. It is not a match for someone seeking a standalone externally powered hub, laptop adapter or HDMI dock. GRAUGEAR also sells G-MP01CR and G-MP02; those names and port configurations should not be merged with this part. The exact Amazon page identifies G-MP01 but conflicts with the official USB-C speed. This review relies on published specifications and does not claim personal installation or transfer testing.
