Our take
Anker 341 A8346 is a compact seven-function USB-C adapter with an explicit speed split between USB-A and USB-C data, 4K/30Hz HDMI, card readers, and PD pass-through. The Ethernet phrase in the historical row is not part of the maker's hub port list.
A USB-C laptop user who wants 4K/30Hz HDMI, two faster USB-A data connections, a slower USB-C data port, card readers, and PD pass-through..
Buyers who need 4K/60Hz, fast USB-C data, built-in Ethernet, or a host without USB-C PD and DisplayPort Alt Mode support.
Pros & cons
What could work for you, and what to consider before buying.
What works in its favor
- Anker identifies A8346 and lists HDMI, USB, PD, SD, and microSD ports.
- The maker distinguishes 100W input from up-to-85W laptop pass-through.
- Separate SD and microSD readers support a media-transfer workflow.
What to weigh up
- HDMI tops out at 4K/30Hz.
- The USB-C data port is USB 2.0/480Mbps, and charger/cable are not included.
- The row's Ethernet-adapter bundle and historical ASIN mapping are unresolved.

Full review: how the features affect your choice
What the features mean for you
The host must support video as well as USB-C
Anker lists one HDMI output up to 4K/30Hz. Its support page requires a USB-C host port with Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode, so a USB-C connector alone is not enough to guarantee a monitor signal. Buyers who want a smoother 4K desktop at 60Hz should compare a different model with that mode documented. The A8346's downstream USB-C data socket does not carry video; HDMI is the display output. Check the exact laptop's display and charging capabilities before choosing this as a dock. The maker's rating is a published specification, not a measured result for every monitor and cable.
The port mix gives USB-A faster data than USB-C
The port list includes two USB-A data connections rated up to 5Gbps and one USB-C data connection at USB 2.0/480Mbps. That is a useful distinction if a fast SSD uses USB-C: the USB-C data socket is not the hub's high-speed storage path. Anker separates the PD input from the USB-C data port, so these functions should not be confused. Match each peripheral's connector and required rate to the specific socket. The ratings are specifications rather than benchmark results, and the host port and attached device can lower real transfer speed. The seven-in-one count does not mean that all data ports share the same speed.
The 100W input does not mean 100W reaches the laptop
Anker says the hub uses up to 15W for its own operation and supports up to 85W laptop charging when connected to a 100W PD charger and cable. The charger and cable are not included. These values help size the charging path, but they do not prove that every laptop receives 85W in every setup. Compare the host's power requirements, charger, cable, and peripheral load before relying on this as the only power source. The USB-A and USB-C data ports are separate from the PD input and are not described as device-charging sockets. No charging test is claimed here.
SD and microSD are separate UHS-I readers
A8346 has SD and microSD slots listed as UHS-I. They can be convenient for moving camera or phone media while a monitor and USB peripherals remain connected. Anker's saved page does not give a measured transfer rate for a particular card or resolve every simultaneous-read workflow. UHS-I is also a distinct ceiling from newer UHS-II cards, so buyers should not assume a faster card reaches its full native speed through this reader. Check the card format and expected file-transfer routine. The paired slots add a clear function to the hub, but should not be treated as a substitute for a higher-performance dedicated reader when that is required.
Verify the Ethernet wording in the old row
The frozen row title includes a USB-C-to-Ethernet adapter phrase, but Anker's official A8346 port list has HDMI, USB-A, USB-C data, PD, SD, and microSD, with no Ethernet socket. A separate accessory could have been part of a historical bundle, but the saved evidence does not establish that package. Buyers who need wired networking should confirm exactly what the current offer contains or choose a model with an Ethernet jack documented by its manufacturer. Do not add Ethernet to the A8346 profile based on the historical title alone. The product search link is for model 341/A8346, not proof of the old bundle.
Who should consider Anker 341 A8346
A8346 may suit a USB-C laptop owner who needs HDMI up to 4K/30Hz, two faster USB-A data ports, slower USB-C data, SD/microSD, and PD pass-through. It is a poor fit for 4K/60Hz, fast USB-C storage, built-in Ethernet, or a host without the required video and charging functions. Confirm the model code, charger, cable, and actual bundle before ordering. The maker supports the hub's port layout, while the historical B08ZD7HQR7 page returned a cache miss and is not treated as a current offer. This review uses official specs without claiming hands-on performance or stock status.
