Our take
GM-UC31MPDOC is a full-size desk dock with varied display connectors, networking, cards, audio, and 60W PD. Its display matrix and USB-A power split should be checked against the intended setup.
A USB-C desk setup that needs several monitor connector choices, wired Ethernet, card readers, and a 60W-class charging path in a long dock body..
Buyers requiring HDMI 4K/60Hz, a compact travel hub, more than the stated USB-A output budget, or an exact current B0735BVDTM offer.
Pros & cons
What could work for you, and what to consider before buying.
What works in its favor
- Gearmo's datasheet identifies the exact model and a detailed port map.
- The dock combines HDMI, MiniDP, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, audio, and card readers.
- The 60W PD and USB-A power ratings are stated separately.
What to weigh up
- HDMI/MiniDP are limited to 4K/30Hz and simultaneous display combinations are not fully mapped.
- USB-A output is 10W total with split limits.
- The current Amazon offer and exact package are unverified.

Full review: how the features affect your choice
What the features mean for you
Three display connectors cover different monitor needs
GM-UC31MPDOC provides HDMI, Mini DisplayPort, and VGA in one dock. Gearmo lists HDMI and MiniDP up to 4K×2K at 30Hz, while VGA is rated to 1920×1200 at 60Hz. That gives the setup a way to connect to a screen with an older analog input as well as newer digital displays, but it is not a universal 4K/60Hz dock. The datasheet does not publish a complete matrix for every display connector used together. Check the exact monitor plan and host video capabilities before choosing it. The published ratings are specifications, not measurements from a laptop and display test.
Networking, cards, and audio favor a desk setup
The official datasheet lists Gigabit Ethernet, a 3.5mm stereo/microphone connection, and separate SD and microSD readers. It specifies SD-family support and microSD up to 128GB, but does not give a card speed or establish that both readers can be active simultaneously. This can reduce the number of separate adapters on a desk used for wired networking, headphones, and media transfer. Buyers with a particular card type or simultaneous display-and-card workflow should verify the complete manual. If those extras are not part of the routine, the dock's long body and broad port count may be more than needed.
USB data has both Type-A and Type-C roles
Gearmo lists three USB 3.0 ports plus a downstream USB-C data port. The datasheet also describes a 10Gbps USB-C data interface. These sockets sit alongside the USB-C host connection and should not be confused with it. Check the printed labels and intended cables for each peripheral, especially when a USB-C accessory must connect through the dock. The source lists USB-A total output separately from data speed, so a fast interface does not imply strong charging output. The page provides a port map but no independent multi-device transfer benchmark. Plan which connections need data throughput and which, if any, need accessory power.
A 60W PD port and USB-A output serve different power jobs
Gearmo specifies a 60W USB-C PD charging port at 20V/3A and a total of 10W for USB-A outputs. One USB-A port is listed up to 7.5W while the other two share 5W. Those ratings matter if a phone or drive remains attached while the computer charges. The datasheet does not measure delivered power on a particular laptop, and the listed package contains the dock and paper manual rather than an AC adapter. Confirm the host's charging needs and supply before relying on the PD path. Do not convert the 60W port rating into a guarantee for every connected device.
Allow space for a long dock body and routed cables
The datasheet gives the body size as 279 × 72 × 14 mm and weight as 313g. Its length allows several connectors along the unit, but takes more desk or bag space than a short dongle. Consider where the Ethernet, monitor, and host cables will exit, and whether the computer's USB-C port can reach the dock comfortably. The saved manufacturer material does not establish an attached cable length, so verify the current package image before planning a precise placement. This form factor is more suited to a fixed workstation than to a pocketable travel adapter.
Who should consider GM-UC31MPDOC
This model may suit a USB-C laptop desk that needs multiple display connector choices, Gigabit Ethernet, audio, cards, three USB 3.0 ports, and a 60W PD path. It is a poor match for a 4K/60Hz HDMI requirement, a small travel setup, a buyer who needs high-current USB-A output, or anyone who expects a current exact Amazon offer. Gearmo's datasheet supports the product identity and port family; the historical B0735BVDTM page returned a cache miss. Search by the exact model and verify the package and display plan. This is a specification-based review, not hands-on performance testing.
