Our take
Toastmaster 354 is a manual toaster oven broiler whose shared guide cover claims four slices of Toast, a four-pound chicken, and nine-inch pies. Its 15-minute timer, Stay On option, and listed modes suit a short, supervised routine. Do not interpret the pie claim as pizza diameter, or the guide's extension-cord advice as oven wattage. Model 354 remains separate from 354CAN.
For a small Toast/Bake/Broil routine when four-inch spacing and manual checks suit the household..
Not for a measured pizza fit, complete thermostat range, strict wattage or footprint, Convection, Air Fry, Rotisserie, or unattended operation.

What the features mean for you
Keep model 354 distinct from 354CAN
The Toastmaster-branded guide cover names both 354 and 354CAN. It supports the unsuffixed model's documented features, but does not turn a historical row into a current seller match or justify combining the two codes. The cover describes a nonstick interior, electronic toast control, adjustable thermostat, advancing rack, and included pan/rack pieces. Treat these as guide claims for the model pair, not proof of an old seller's current carton or of independent performance.
Toast and the short timer
The guide calls for MODE at Bake/Toast, the thermostat at Broil/Toast, food centered at shelf position three, and the timer used to choose shade. It estimates about five to six minutes for medium Toast and says a single slice may need a lighter setting than several. The timer runs to 15 minutes, rings, and turns the oven off; for longer work, Stay On requires visual checks and a manual return to Off. That suits short batches better than unattended long cycles.
Bake, Broil, and listed food examples
Bake uses rack positions two, three, or four and preheats if needed. Broil uses the upper elements, a broil insert in the pan, rack position two or three, about two inches from the element, and a halfway turn. The cover's four-pound chicken and nine-inch pies are useful maker examples, but do not give a cavity measurement or pizza diameter. Keep those references separate from a claim that every bird, pan, or nominally nine-inch pizza fits.
Warm and Defrost are not general cooking ranges
Top Brown, Keep Warm, and Defrost use Bake/Toast; Keep Warm and Defrost directions specify 200°F. The manual says not to defrost meat, poultry, or fish with that procedure and not to cover food. It does not provide a complete thermostat span. The guide says 120 V / 60 Hz, household-only use, and a polarized plug, but no oven wattage. Its four-inch open-space rule applies above, behind, and at both sides, with no items stored on top.
What to check before using an offer
The manual requires the wire rack for each cooking function and describes how it advances when the door opens. The guide lists a bake pan and broil rack but does not verify current package contents, finish, or seller identity. It does not document Convection, Air Fry, or Rotisserie, and has no outside dimensions, weight, measured opening, or pizza diameter. Use the tagged model search to check exact code 354, keep 354CAN separate, and measure the actual counter and cookware if fit is tight.
What else to compare
Compare a model with a stated pizza diameter, longer timed cycle, or published outside measurements when needed.
Before you buy
What capacity does the guide cover claim?
It lists four toast slices, a four-pound chicken, and nine-inch pies; these are guide claims, not measured cavity guarantees.
Is the nine-inch pie claim a pizza diameter?
No. The manual says pies and does not give a pizza size.
How does the timer work?
It runs up to 15 minutes with a signal and stop; Stay On needs manual checking and Off.
Does Toastmaster 354 have Convection or Air Fry?
Those functions are not listed in the shared 354/354CAN guide.
How much space should I leave around it?
The guide asks for four inches above, behind, and on both sides, and says not to store items on top.
