Our take
Seapora's catalog identifies item 56218 as a 75-gallon Edge Series aquarium with a 48 × 18 × 20-inch listed footprint. Pet Life's matching RAQ-56218 page adds product-specific construction details: polished edges, black silicone, a rimless design, non-tempered glass panels, and an Opti-Pure front panel. These facts make the model distinguishable from Seapora's separate 75-gallon Reef-Ready 56519 and the 80-gallon frag models. The sources do not establish a current Amazon offer, a stand, filtration equipment, light, lid, overflow plumbing, or sump. Use the tagged exact-model search as a lead and verify the code and package before purchase.
A shopper comparing a 75-gallon, rimless glass aquarium and willing to confirm the current item code and seller package..
Not for a shopper who needs a verified bundled filter, light, stand, sump, reef plumbing, a tempered-glass panel, or an exact current Amazon offer tied to the historical ASIN.
Pros & cons
What could work for you, and what to consider before buying.
What works in its favor
- The manufacturer lists exact item 56218 at 75 gallons and gives a 48 × 18 × 20-inch footprint.
- A matching retailer SKU describes rimless construction, polished edges, black silicone, non-tempered panels, and a named front-panel treatment.
- The item code separates this standard Edge aquarium from Seapora's distinct reef-ready and frag configurations.
What to weigh up
- No reviewed source itemizes a filter, pump, light, lid, stand, overflow fittings, or sump for the candidate package.
- The historical Amazon ASIN is not mapped to a present exact offer, and seller package details may differ.
- The retailer's construction description does not provide glass thickness, a support rating, or permission to drill or modify panels.

What the features mean for you
Match the 56218 code before comparing listings
Seapora's catalog places item 56218 in its Glass Aquariums section and calls it an Edge Series aquarium at 75 gallons. Pet Life's product page uses SKU RAQ-56218 for a 75-gallon Edge Series tank. Those identifiers and the matching capacity support the model relationship, while the old Amazon record's ASIN remains unverified. This is useful because the same catalog lists nearby Edge models with other codes and different reef-ready or frag labels. When a seller result appears, check the 56218 item code, capacity and front-to-back size against the product label; a similar Edge name alone does not settle the exact variant or package.
Plan around the listed footprint
The manufacturer gives 48 × 18 × 20 inches for item 56218. That long, moderately deep footprint is a concrete comparison point against the other 75-gallon Seapora entry, 56519, which is catalog-listed at 48 × 18 × 24 inches, and the Edge frag tanks at 48 × 24 × 16 inches. The different dimensions change the space occupied and the viewing proportions even when gallon labels are close. They do not establish a stand size, leveling allowance, filled weight or floor suitability. Measure the intended location and obtain current support guidance for the exact model before selecting furniture or planning access around the aquarium.
Understand what the glass description does and does not say
Pet Life describes non-tempered glass panels and identifies the front panel as using Opti-Pure Glass Technology. That helps distinguish the stated panel construction from listings that simply say glass, but the source gives no thickness or model-specific handling instructions. Do not infer impact resistance, scratch behavior, light transmission measurements, or modification compatibility from the retailer's wording. The non-tempered description is especially relevant if a setup plan depends on drilling: the reviewed pages do not approve any alteration, so ask Seapora or the seller for written guidance rather than treating a material label as a drilling specification. The separate finder value records only glass construction.
Treat rimless edges and black silicone as visible design facts
Pet Life calls the tank rimless, with polished edges and black silicone. These details affect the visible border and seam appearance, which can matter when comparing a clean-edged open display with a framed aquarium. The page does not state whether a glass top, clips, light, or other cover is included or compatible. If the setup needs a cover or a particular light support, confirm its fit for RAQ-56218 instead of assuming a rimless aquarium shares hardware with a framed Seapora model. The sources also do not quantify how the design changes maintenance or performance; this review treats the named construction as a selection detail, not a tested advantage.
Do not read the 56218 entry as a reef system package
The maker calls 56218 an Edge Series aquarium, not the separate 56219 Edge Series Reef-Ready Frag model. Its catalog entry gives a glass tank and dimensions but no plumbing, overflow, return pump, filter, sump or light list. That distinction matters if a buyer's plan requires a drilled tank or a sump-based system: a shared brand or Edge family does not supply those compatibility details. Compare the exact item code and a seller's current itemized contents. This profile leaves filtration unknown, so it will not satisfy the finder's sump-required answer. A tank-only comparison remains possible when equipment is selected and checked separately.
Compare the real alternatives and confirm the offer
Within Seapora's 75-gallon class, item 56519 is listed as Reef-Ready at 48 × 18 × 24 inches, whereas item 56218 is the 48 × 18 × 20-inch Edge aquarium; the catalog does not itemize 56519's fittings either. Item 56219 is an 80-gallon Reef-Ready Frag model at a wider, shorter 48 × 24 × 16-inch footprint, and 56220 is a separate non-reef-ready 80-gallon frag tank. Those documented differences can guide a size and layout shortlist, but they do not make the models interchangeable. Search by 56218 and RAQ-56218, then confirm panel construction, dimensions, stand, lid and any equipment in the current seller listing. Historical ASIN B01JS2S8RM is not a direct offer proof.
What else to compare
For another 75-gallon glass footprint, compare Seapora 56519 at 48 × 18 × 24 inches, noting that its maker catalog only labels it Reef-Ready and does not detail fittings. For a wider, shallower frag configuration, compare 56219 at 80 gallons and 48 × 24 × 16 inches; it is a separate Reef-Ready item. Seapora 56220 shares the 80-gallon frag footprint but is not the same model. Check the exact code and package for each.

The decision
Seapora 56218 is a source-identified 75-gallon rimless glass aquarium with a 48 × 18 × 20-inch footprint and retailer-described edge details.
