The larger body needs a place where the tank and bowl can be removed comfortably.
App scheduling still needs a supervised setup
PETLIBRO documents 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi support, app scheduling for up to 10 meals each day, and 1–50 portions per meal. Those features may help manage a routine from a phone, but a scheduled dispense is not a proof of eating or a medical feeding record. Connect the feeder while you are present, run the food you actually use through several meals, and check that the bowl remains accessible. Confirm the kibble is within the 2–15mm range before setting a recurring plan.
Backup batteries have a clear limitation
The dual-power design uses the supplied adapter with three alkaline D batteries as an emergency plan. PETLIBRO’s guide says scheduled feeding continues on battery power, while Wi-Fi, feeding records, and reset functions are disabled. That is useful for preserving the local timetable during an outage, but it does not provide remote confirmation when the feeder is offline. Test the backup arrangement before depending on it, keep fresh cells available, and arrange in-person care rather than treating the battery mode as supervision.
Capacity does not remove ownership work
Five litres can reduce refill frequency, yet the actual days of food depend on kibble density, portions, and the number of animals. PETLIBRO specifies portion settings, not the amount your pet should eat, so check output with your own food. Plan room to remove the bowl, tank, and food-contact parts for cleaning, and keep water and other care in the same routine. The PETLIBRO Air PLAF108 is a smaller cordless app model with a rechargeable battery. The existing Granary 3L PLAF005 uses local controls and backup batteries without app dependence.
