Our take
The Olixar OLX-720P-WBCM is a straightforward 720p webcam for a stable desk distance. Its part number is supported by Olixar's product page, but the historical Amazon ASIN is not mapped to that model.
A basic call setup where a fixed camera distance, modest resolution, and simple integrated microphone are acceptable..
Not for buyers who require Full HD, autofocus, a documented wide view, a privacy shutter, or current host support confirmed for an exact Amazon offer.

What the features mean for you
Part identity and Amazon destination
The Olixar webcam has a clearer specification than its short Amazon source title suggests. Olixar's product page identifies the HD Universal USB Webcam with microphone as part OLX-720P-WBCM and UPC 5056208148858. That matches the frozen model field, but the page does not mention ASIN B08B1MDWWH; the exact Amazon page returned an internal error. This review therefore describes the documented Olixar part while leaving the exact Amazon offer unverified. Use an exact-model search rather than treating the old ASIN as a direct link.
A modest, clearly listed video ceiling
The Olixar page lists a 720p CMOS sensor, 640×480/30 and 1280×720/30 modes, and MJPG and YUY2 formats. That can fit routine calls when 720p is enough and the camera is intended for one seated participant. It is a lower ceiling than Full HD or 4K alternatives, so it is less suited to close-up product detail, small text, or buyers who expect 1080p recording. The formats are useful compatibility clues, but the source does not confirm UVC behavior or give a broader live-mode table.
Focus and framing
Fixed focus is practical if the camera stays at a predictable distance. Olixar gives a 30cm-to-infinity focus range. It will not actively refocus as a person moves toward the lens, so showing an item close to the camera or changing seats may be less accommodating than with autofocus. There is no published field-of-view figure, so the source cannot establish how much desk or room appears in frame. The adjustable clip attaches to screens and can double as a stand on a flat surface; a tripod thread and monitor-thickness limit are not documented.
Microphone and connection
Olixar lists one omnidirectional microphone channel. Treat this as a simple integrated mic rather than a microphone array: the documentation gives no pickup distance, noise processing, mute switch, or acoustic measurement. USB 2.0 provides the connection, but the technical details do not establish cable length or a current USB-C adapter. A buyer with a desktop tower placed under a desk should confirm reach and whether an extension works reliably.
Compatibility, package, and fit
Listed operating systems include Windows 7 and later, Mac OS 10.6, Chrome OS and Android 5.0 at release. Those are historical compatibility notes, not proof of present support. The page's general service wording does not identify a driver version or the exact Amazon offer. Separate Olixar Xbox cameras and privacy-cover accessories use other part numbers and are not aliases. This model fits a stable setup that accepts 720p, fixed focus, and one-channel audio; choose another option if autofocus or verified Full HD is essential.
Who should consider it
The OLX-720P-WBCM is a sensible fit for a basic call setup where 720p, fixed focus, and an adjustable clip are enough. It is a poor match when verified 1080p, autofocus, a known field of view, or current operating-system support are requirements. Confirm the part code and box contents rather than assuming every Olixar camera or bundled cover is the same item. This assessment uses Olixar's product page and frozen source title and makes no hands-on, buyer-review, price, or stock claim.
What else to compare
The Logitech C920s offers documented 1080p30 and autofocus with a physical shutter; its renewed offer has its own condition caveat.
Before you buy
Does OLX-720P-WBCM have autofocus?
No. Olixar describes fixed focus from 30cm to infinity, so keep the camera at a predictable distance.
What video modes does Olixar list?
The product page lists 1280×720 at 30fps and 640×480 at 30fps, with MJPG and YUY2 formats.
Is ASIN B08B1MDWWH confirmed as this part?
No. The part and UPC match Olixar's page, but no source maps that historical ASIN to the part.
Where can I check the current price?
Use the Amazon link for current offers. Check the exact model, seller, product condition, delivery, and return terms. This page does not display a live price or confirm stock.
