Our take
Ubuy names the Midwest Tropical Fountain Aqua 15 Gallon Scape Hexagon aquarium kit and lists acrylic construction, 15 gallons, and a kit with a pump, lighting, decorations, under-gravel filtration and an air pump. The accessible page does not establish a model code or UPC, so those identifiers remain unknown. This gives the historical candidate a distinctive shape and material profile, though the evidence is a third-party marketplace listing rather than a manufacturer sheet. Ubuy gives dimensions, but no maker source corroborates them, and the listing does not prove that historical ASIN B0006MXQ08 is a current exact offer. Verify the exact item and measurements before purchase.
A buyer comparing a 15-gallon acrylic hexagon aquarium kit who will confirm the model and package details before planning placement..
Not for a glass-only requirement, someone who needs trusted outside dimensions, or anyone requiring a confirmed separate sump or a current Amazon model match.

What the features mean for you
The listing names a product family, not a code
Ubuy's page title names a Midwest Tropical Fountain Aqua 15 Gallon Scape Hexagon aquarium kit, and its product details repeat the brand and product name. The accessible text does not give a manufacturer model code or UPC. That makes the name and listed package the usable identity clues; it would be inaccurate to add a code based on another retailer or an unexplained number. Ubuy displays historical ASIN B0006MXQ08, but that does not establish a current exact Amazon offer. Compare a seller's actual item name and label before treating it as the same product.
The listing's shape and material set it apart
The page identifies a 15-gallon acrylic tank in a hexagonal form. That combination differs from the reviewed glass rectangles and cubes, and from cylindrical acrylic models such as the much larger Vepotek Aqualic. It gives a shopper a clear reason to compare the Fountain Aqua listing when the shape itself is important. Ubuy lists dimensions of 15.5 × 14 × 31 inches, but no maker source corroborates those measurements. This profile does not use them to claim that the tank will fit a shelf or doorway. Confirm outside dimensions and support needs before selecting a surface.
Treat the equipment list as a reseller description
Ubuy lists a pump, lighting, extension cord, decorative plants, under-gravel filtration and an air pump. These components make the seller's kit description different from a bare tank, but the page does not establish the exact package from another seller or guarantee that every revision includes the same parts. It also gives no flow rate, light output, maintenance interval or test result. A buyer should request a current box list and confirm the electrical components and any setup instructions tied to the unit being sold.
Under-gravel filtration is not a sump
The listing names under-gravel filtration and separately mentions an air pump. That is not a documented sump system, so the Fountain Aqua listing should not be treated as a match when a sump is essential. The source does not explain filtration capacity, media composition or cleaning routine beyond the names of components. This leaves maintenance demands open. If filtration architecture affects your setup, ask for the manual and a diagram for the exact item rather than equating all built-in or concealed filters.
Use the 15-gallon class without overreading it
The reseller lists 15 gallons, which places this model above ten gallons but below the 50-gallon threshold. It also lists acrylic construction, making it eligible for an acrylic preference and ineligible for a glass-only choice. Those facts support the finder; they do not establish net operating volume, fish capacity or suitability for a species. The same page uses broad promotional language about visibility and suitability. This review relies on the model, material, shape, nominal volume and named components, not on outcome claims from the reseller.
Verify placement and current offer details
Ubuy lists dimensions of 15.5 × 14 × 31 inches, but the maker does not corroborate them in the saved sources, so they should not determine whether this tank fits a shelf, cabinet or doorway. The listing describes the style as tabletop, but does not provide a support rating or filled weight. The tagged Amazon search names Midwest Tropical and the Fountain Aqua 15-gallon hexagon kit rather than linking directly to ASIN B0006MXQ08. Confirm the exact item name, ask for reliable outside measurements and check the current included parts on the actual seller page. The manufacturer model code and UPC remain unknown. Price, availability, product condition and any warranty are not established here.
What else to compare
For a different acrylic format, compare the biOrb CLASSIC 60 MCR at a listed 16 U.S. gallons or the much larger Vepotek Aqualic 360. Neither is a direct substitute for the Fountain Aqua listing's hexagon shape and reseller-described package.
