Our take
EGO identifies LM2001 as the 20-inch mower configuration with a 4.0 Ah battery and rapid charger included. The model is discontinued, but the manufacturer page still documents the kit, push design, fold-flat storage, and bagging, mulching, and side-discharge functions. EGO also gives a cut-time statement of at least 45 minutes with a 4.0 Ah battery or larger; conditions vary, so this should not be treated as a guaranteed session length. Exact bag capacity and height settings are not stated on the cited page.
A buyer seeking a documented 20-inch EGO push-mower kit who accepts a discontinued model and will verify the exact seller offer..
Avoid it if you need a current model with an assured seller package, a self-propelled drive system, or documented bag capacity and height-position details.
Pros & cons
What could work for you, and what to consider before buying.
What works in its favor
- EGO lists LM2001 as a 20-inch push-mower kit with a 4.0 Ah battery and rapid charger.
- The maker documents mulching, rear bagging, and side discharge.
- Fold-flat storage and push-button starting are listed for the model family.
What to weigh up
- EGO labels LM2001 discontinued, so current availability and seller condition are not established by the maker page.
- The exact page does not state the grass-bag capacity or the number and range of cut-height settings.
- The 45-minute-or-more cut-time statement is conditional on a 4.0 Ah or larger battery and is not a guarantee.

Full review: how the features affect your choice
What the features mean for you
A middle-width push deck
EGO describes LM2001 within its 20-inch mower page and calls the mower a push model. Its width sits between the narrow MJ401E and larger 21-inch machines, giving a concrete deck comparison without making an unsupported claim about yard coverage. The push configuration means the operator supplies forward movement; the page does not describe a self-propelled drive. Compare the 20-inch dimension with gates and turning points, and compare the drive choice separately from deck width.
A complete 56 V battery and charger configuration
EGO's configuration table names LM2001 as a mower with battery and charger, specifying a 4.0 Ah pack and rapid charger. The page also says EGO 56 V ARC Lithium batteries are compatible across its outdoor equipment. That makes this version distinct from a tool-only product, although a historical row or current listing may have a different package. Check the model code and included items on the exact offer, especially because the maker marks LM2001 discontinued.
Three documented ways to handle clippings
The manufacturer calls the mower true 3-in-1 and lists mulching, rear bagging, and side discharge. A buyer can therefore compare its mode options with corded models that confirm only a bag or with mowers where side discharge is unknown. The cited page does not provide a bushel or gallon figure for the collection bag, so the professional bag-capacity filter leaves that value unknown. A mode being listed does not tell us how it performs in a particular grass or moisture condition.
Fold-flat storage and conditional cut time
EGO lists a fold-flat design and a cut-time statement of at least 45 minutes when paired with a 4.0 Ah battery or higher. The maker's wording is a conditional battery claim, not a guarantee for a given yard or a comparable maximum-runtime figure. The product page does not provide the full height range or count for LM2001, so those details are not used for hard matching. Buyers should treat storage and runtime claims as model-family documentation and verify that the offer actually includes the stated battery.
Discontinuation changes the offer checks
EGO explicitly labels LM2001 discontinued. That does not change the base-model facts on the maker's page, but it does mean a buyer should be especially careful about seller identity, condition, package contents, and support terms. The historical source row is not proof of a current Amazon offer or of a direct ASIN-to-model mapping. This shortlist therefore points to an exact-model search. Confirm the LM2001 marking and battery/charger bundle on the listing before relying on the kit details in the profile.
