Our take
The TOB-60 is a manual five-function oven for shoppers who value Convection Bake and can work within its 30-minute timer and placement limits.
For a buyer who wants convection and broiling along with manual toast and warm modes, and can follow the placement guidance..
Not for buyers who require Air Fry, longer timed cycles, under-cabinet use, exact pizza fit, or a stated voltage or wattage.
Pros & cons
What could work for you, and what to consider before buying.
What works in its favor
- The guide documents five named modes: Bake, Convection Bake, Broil, Toast, and Warm.
- Separate manual dials control temperature, function, and timer.
- Timed cycles and Toast have a bell and shutoff; the separate stone page lists TOB-60 compatibility.
What to weigh up
- The timer is limited to 30 minutes, and Always On requires manual Off.
- The guide does not state a complete temperature span or numeric electrical rating.
- General pizza and pan fit, cavity and exterior dimensions, and weight are not stated; under-cabinet use is prohibited.

What the features mean for you
Guide scope and functions
The Cuisinart TOB-60 Series guide describes a compact convection toaster oven broiler with five named functions: Bake, Convection Bake, Broil, Toast, and Warm. Its controls are a temperature dial, function dial, and timer dial. The inspected booklet copy is hosted by Appliance Factory Parts and titled for TOB-60; the manual itself calls the booklet TOB-60 Series. I use it for the base TOB-60 row and keep later TOB-60N codes separate because no source here maps those suffixes to the historical listing.
Timed baking and convection
The operating differences matter. Bake and Convection Bake use the temperature and function controls, and the booklet recommends a five-to-ten-minute preheat. It describes a timer with up to 30 minutes of timed operation and a once-ringing bell followed by automatic shutoff. The Always On position is different: the user has to turn the dial to Off manually. Cuisinart also recommends checking convection recipes earlier and often reducing the recipe temperature by 25 degrees. Those are operating notes, not a promise about cooking results.
Broil, Toast, and Warm
Broiling uses the Broil setting and requires the broiling rack in the drip pan. The guide calls for a five-minute preheat with the door closed, then says to leave the door ajar while broiling and turn the timer Off to stop that routine. It warns against broiling in glass dishes. The Toast cycle uses a specific middle rack position and the 500°F Toast/Broil temperature mark; the timer control selects the toast shade. At the end of Toast, the oven rings once and turns off. The placement diagram shows arrangements for two, four, or six toast items, which is useful guidance, though the booklet does not state a strict maximum capacity. Warm uses a 200°F setting, a five-minute preheat, and a timer of up to 30 minutes.
Stone compatibility and general fit
For cookware fit, I would separate what the maker actually lists from broader assumptions. Cuisinart's own PSR-11 product page says its separately sold 11-inch pizza stone fits TOB-60. That supports the stone as a compatible accessory, but it does not promise that every 11-inch pizza or handled pan will fit, and it does not show that the stone is part of a current seller's box. The manual describes an oven rack with lettered position diagrams, a broiling rack, baking/drip tray, and slide-out crumb tray. It does not provide a measured cavity, general pizza size, exterior dimensions, or weight.
Clearance and electrical information
The placement directions call for two to four inches between the oven and the wall or other counter objects. The safety section says not to operate under wall cabinets, to keep objects off the top while running, and not to leave the oven unattended. The guide identifies household use and a polarized plug, but it does not state a voltage, frequency, or wattage. That makes the electrical advice helpful for a household-plug buyer while leaving a hard circuit-load comparison unanswered.
Who should consider it
TOB-60 may suit someone who wants regular baking plus convection, broiling, toasting, and warming in one manual-control oven, and can work within 30-minute timed cycles and the listed placement rules. It is not an Air Fry oven, and the guide does not establish an exact pizza diameter or measured internal fit. This is a source-based review of the Cuisinart booklet and maker accessory page, not a hands-on test or customer-experience report. The row's discontinued-title clue and ASIN are not mapped to a present seller offer.
What else to compare
Compare an Air Fry model if that function is essential, or a manual model with a published pizza diameter when a specific pie size must fit.
Before you buy
Is TOB-60 the same as TOB-60N2?
The inspected guide is labeled TOB-60 Series; later TOB-60N variants are separate codes and are not crosswalked here.
Will an 11-inch pizza fit?
Cuisinart says its separate PSR-11 11-inch stone fits TOB-60. That is not a general pizza or cookware maximum.
Does the oven always turn itself off?
The timed Bake and Convection Bake cycles and Toast cycle are described as ending with automatic shutoff. Always On requires manual Off; the Broil instructions also direct the user to turn the timer Off.
