Our take
Consider TOB-30BW for conventional Bake, Toast, and Broil, the maker-listed 0.5-cubic-foot capacity, or its 9-inch pie and five-pound chicken examples. It needs two to four inches of countertop spacing and should not be operated under wall cabinets.
Consider it for conventional meals and the maker's pie/chicken examples when countertop spacing and power uncertainty work..
Not for Convection, Air Fry, Rotisserie, a pizza diameter, exact electrical or temperature limits, measured fit, or a seller matched to the historic refurbished ASIN.
Pros & cons
What could work for you, and what to consider before buying.
What works in its favor
- Cuisinart lists three conventional modes and a 0.5-cubic-foot capacity.
- The maker gives a 9-inch pie and five-pound chicken as fit examples.
- The guide has three toast shades with separate Start and Stop controls.
What to weigh up
- The manual does not give a pizza diameter, numeric electrical rating, or complete thermostat range.
- Rack-position diagrams use A, B, and C despite two-position wording, and the finish text conflicts.
- The sources do not map the historic reconditioned box or ASIN to a current offer.

What the features mean for you
Three conventional modes
Cuisinart's exact TOB-30BW page lists conventional Bake, Toast, and Broil. The linked TOB-30 Series booklet shows temperature, function, and toast-shade dials, plus separate Toast Start and Stop buttons. The guide does not document Convection, Air Fry, or Rotisserie. For a buyer seeking a straightforward countertop oven, those three modes cover several familiar tasks; for a fan-assisted or specialty job, the exact sources do not support that feature. Keep TOB-30BW distinct from TOB-30BC and other suffixes.
Food examples are not pizza measurements
Cuisinart lists 0.5 cubic foot and says the oven can bake a five-pound chicken or a nine-inch pie. The booklet shows six items arranged on the rack for Toast, but does not call that a maximum slice capacity. A pie diameter is not a pizza-diameter statement, and none of these examples gives a general pan opening. Use them as bounded meal examples. If a pizza, casserole, or exact bakeware width matters, check the actual dish against the oven rather than treating capacity wording as a measurement.
Toast has a clearer end cycle than Bake or Broil
The guide uses Light, Medium, and Dark toast-shade settings, places the rack in position B, and describes Start and Stop buttons. At the end of Toast the oven beeps five times and turns off. The maker page uses general automatic-shutoff wording, but Bake and Broil instructions tell the user to turn the function dial off; do not extend Toast's stop behavior to those modes. Bake and Broil include five-minute preheat steps, and Broil is done with the door ajar after preheating.
Leave room around the countertop oven
The booklet says to place the oven on a flat surface and move it two to four inches from a wall or other countertop objects. It explicitly says not to operate under wall cabinets and warns that the exterior walls become hot. The manual describes a polarized plug and household-only use but gives no voltage, frequency, or wattage. This is enough to identify a placement routine, not enough to screen a strict electrical threshold or a full outside footprint. Measure the counter and follow the physical unit's rating label.
Rack, finish, and old seller claims stay bounded
The product page calls the rack two-position, while the booklet's diagrams label positions A, B, and C. The page says Matte Black and also includes a Brushed stainless steel feature label. Keep both conflicts visible instead of choosing a color or rack count for a historical unit. The maker materials describe a crumb tray and baking/broiling pan, but the old factory-reconditioned condition and ASIN are not linked to a current seller package. This is a source-based review, not product testing or a buyer-review summary.
What else to compare
DeLonghi EO1200B adds a manual-stated 250–430°F traditional baking range and Slow Bake, while Cuisinart TOB-30BW gives clearer pie/chicken and countertop-spacing examples.
