Our take
The BEMW482BH is a compact-width corded mower with a 17-inch cut, 12 A motor, push-button start, and six documented settings between 1 and 3 inches. That is a practical set of specifications for comparing a narrow electric format, but the maker's page leaves important questions open: it does not list a bag size or confirm whether the exact model can mulch or side-discharge. The historical row is a renewed offer, so model documentation does not establish the condition, warranty, or contents of any current seller package.
A buyer looking for a documented 17-inch corded mower who can manage an outdoor extension cord and will verify the renewed seller's condition and exact package..
Skip it if battery power, self-propelled drive, a verified large collector, or a documented side-discharge mode is essential to your choice.

Full review: how the features affect your choice
What the features mean for you
A 17-inch width for a narrower path
BLACK+DECKER titles this model as a 17-inch mower and the product specifications list the same cutting width. That is narrower than the 20- and 21-inch decks on several released comparisons, though wider than 14-inch compact mowers. Width describes the blade path, not a guaranteed mowing time or proof that a machine will pass through a particular gate. Measure the route and turning space that matter in your yard before treating the dimension as a fit answer.
Corded power changes the route plan
The manufacturer identifies the BEMW482BH as corded, with a 12 A motor. That removes battery capacity and charger availability from the purchase calculation, but it makes outlet location, extension-cord rating, and a safe cord path part of each mowing session. The maker page does not publish a battery-runtime or coverage claim, and no yard-size estimate is inferred here. Buyers who want to move freely without a cord should compare the battery models in the same finder instead.
Six height positions, from one to three inches
The exact product page gives six height adjustments and a 1-to-3-inch cutting range. That offers more adjustment points than the three-position MJ401E in this batch, while stopping below four inches. The range is a documented specification, not a recommendation for a particular grass type or a promise about the resulting lawn. If a hard maximum-height or minimum-height threshold matters to your maintenance plan, compare those actual endpoints with your requirements rather than relying on the count of settings alone.
Collection claims are not fully described
BLACK+DECKER describes a winged blade and claims improved clipping collection, but the BEMW482BH page does not identify the exact collection mode or state a grass-bag volume. The page also does not confirm a side-discharge chute or mulching plug. We leave those matching fields unknown so a hard request for either mode will not be satisfied by implication. Check the seller's exact configuration and manual before treating an accessory shown in a listing as included with this mower.
Keep the renewed offer separate from the base model
The manufacturer page verifies the base BEMW482BH identity and describes its motor, width, controls, and adjustment range. It does not describe the condition of the Amazon Renewed offer represented by the historical source row. That distinction matters for wear, package completeness, returns, and warranty; those are seller terms, not mower specifications. The purchase destination therefore searches the exact model rather than asserting an ASIN match. Verify the model marking, condition grade, included collection equipment, and return policy on the offer you consider.

Before you buy
Does BEMW482BH include a grass bag?
The cited BLACK+DECKER product page does not state a bag capacity or list a bag in its included-items line. Verify the exact seller package before purchase.
Can it mulch or side-discharge?
Those modes are not confirmed on the exact model page reviewed here, so the finder leaves them unknown rather than treating either as supported.
Does the manufacturer page verify the renewed unit?
No. It confirms base-model specifications. The historical row's renewed condition and current seller package require separate offer-level checks.
Where can I check the current price?
Use the Amazon link for current offers. Check the exact model, seller, product condition, delivery, and return terms. This page does not display a live price or confirm stock.
