Our take
BT014-U is a compact personal mini tower with two listed speeds; its exact electrical rating, timer, remote and oscillation remain unverified.
Consider it for personal airflow where a small footprint matters, after checking the exact-U nameplate and package controls..
Not for a buyer who needs a confirmed 120 V supply, remote, timer, automatic sweep or measured room coverage for the exact -U model.
Pros & cons
What could work for you, and what to consider before buying.
What works in its favor
- The reseller page identifies Bionaire BT014-U as a personal-space mini tower.
- It lists a small 6.7 × 7.2 × 13.4-inch size and two button-selected speeds.
- The profile keeps a Canadian -CN sibling manual separate from the exact -U variant.
What to weigh up
- The listing combines conflicting 5 V and 30 W fields, so no exact-U electrical value is assigned.
- Oscillation documented for BT014-CN is not verified for BT014-U.
- The historical ASIN has no readable current Amazon offer, and timer and remote details are unknown.

What the features mean for you
A personal-size mini tower
The Desertcart listing identifies Bionaire BT014-U as a Personal Space Mini Tower Fan and gives dimensions of 6.7 by 7.2 by 13.4 inches. That makes it a compact tabletop or nearby personal-fan lead, not a full-height tower. The dimensions come from the reseller listing rather than an independent measurement, so check the offered unit before planning a tight shelf or desk placement. The smaller format may suit close-range use where a larger floor fan would take too much space, but the source does not establish room coverage or a specific airflow distance. Confirm the exact suffix on the product label.
Two button-selected speeds
The BT014-U listing describes two speed levels with button control. That is a simple interface for buyers who want a lower and higher setting without navigating multiple modes. The source does not provide measured output for either speed, and it does not establish how much air the fan moves or how loud it sounds. A two-setting count should not be compared as a performance score. If you need a finer adjustment range, compare a fan whose exact-model source documents more speeds. The listing does not verify a remote or timer, so do not assume either accessory or control from other Bionaire products.
Keep the -U and -CN suffixes separate
Bionaire's BT014-CN leaflet is an official manual for a Canadian sibling model, not an instruction sheet for BT014-U. It describes low/high settings and switchable oscillation, but those details do not prove that the -U unit oscillates. The matching profile therefore uses the two speeds from the exact-U listing and leaves the numeric sweep unknown. Shared BT014 wording is not enough to transfer every function across suffixes. If oscillation or a particular control matters, ask for the BT014-U manual or inspect the controls on the exact product before treating it as a match.
Electrical fields conflict
The exact-U reseller page has conflicting 5 V and 30 W entries. Those values do not form a dependable electrical rating, and the official BT014-CN manual's 120 V AC rating belongs to another suffix. Neither figure is assigned to BT014-U. Check the product nameplate, power cord and exact manual before connecting the fan to a supply, especially if buying an older or imported item. The saved source also does not establish frequency, wattage, adapter type, timer or remote. This is an important limit for comparison rather than a reason to substitute a sibling model's specifications.
Buying checks and fit
The historical Amazon ASIN B004LGTSJS did not open, and no current exact Amazon offer is established. Use the tagged BT014-U search as a way to look for the model, then confirm the complete suffix, dimensions, rated input and included accessories on the seller's item. This fan is a cautious option to investigate when a personal-size black mini tower and two simple speed settings fit the intended use. Choose a better-documented model if you require a timer, remote, verified oscillation or an electrical rating before purchase. This review uses listing evidence, not hands-on testing or buyer-review summaries. The two listed speeds place it below comparisons that require three or more speed levels, and the lack of a documented timer may matter for scheduled use. Confirm voltage and frequency from the nameplate before plugging it in.
What else to compare
For a timer, remote or confirmed oscillation, compare a model whose exact suffix manual documents those controls.
Before you buy
Does the exact BT014-U listing show two speeds?
Yes. The listing describes two speed levels controlled by buttons for the BT014-U product.
Does the BT014-CN manual prove BT014-U oscillates?
No. It is a separate Canadian suffix, so its oscillation detail is not transferred to the -U model.
Is BT014-U confirmed as 5 V or 120 V?
No. The reseller's exact-U electrical fields conflict, and the 120 V value belongs to the sibling -CN manual.
