Our take
Aqueon item 17755 belongs in this comparison as a catalog-documented ten-gallon glass aquarium kit with a named filter and fluorescent hood. The saved catalog copy identifies its kit components, but it does not establish current production, tank dimensions, or a current seller package. Aqueon's current 10 LED kit page uses a different SKU and UPC, and no source maps that listing to frozen ASIN B0027J3JKK. Treat 17755 as a verified catalog model with an unresolved current offer, not as a proven live Amazon variant.
A shopper comparing a catalog-documented ten-gallon glass kit with fluorescent lighting and a Power Filter 10, after confirming tank dimensions and the current box contents..
It is not a confirmed choice for someone who needs verified current availability, exact tank dimensions, a documented current package, LED lighting, a known filter-flow specification, or a direct Amazon item match.

What the features mean for you
A catalog-named model, with a current-offer gap
Aqueon's product catalog copy names a Deluxe Kit Aquarium 10, item 17755. That item number and kit name align with the frozen row's model clue, so the source supports a real aquarium model rather than a generic Aqueon accessory. The catalog describes the tank, filter, hood, and small kit contents. It is a catalog copy hosted by an aquarium retailer, however, and establishes what that catalog identified rather than current manufacture or today's seller inventory. No opened source maps historical ASIN B0027J3JKK to a current exact Amazon product. This review therefore keeps the model identity and current-offer question separate.
Treat Size 10 as a listing class, not a footprint
The item 17755 entry calls the aquarium Size 10, which places it in the nominal ten-gallon class used by this finder. That value is not a measurement of usable water after a fill line, substrate, or equipment. The catalog gives carton dimensions of 22.6875 by 13.625 by 14.84 inches, but those are shipping-box dimensions, not tank dimensions. The same page supplies 20 by 10 by 12-inch tank dimensions for neighboring Basic Kit item 17750; that is a different item and those measurements are not transferred to the Deluxe kit. Aqueon's general Fluorescent Deluxe setup guide says all sides of an aquarium bottom should be supported on a level, appropriately sized stand. Confirm the actual tank measurements before choosing furniture.
The documented package is the main differentiator
For item 17755, the catalog lists a Power Filter 10 and medium filter cartridge, a 20-inch Deluxe Fluorescent Hood and bulb, setup and care guide, water conditioner, premium fish food, fish net, and digital thermometer. This is a more specific package description than a bare-tank entry, and it gives a buyer an initial checklist for comparing boxes. The catalog does not say whether every present-day seller package retains those parts or whether this kit is still sold in that configuration. Gravel, decorations, heater, and stand are not listed in the 17755 block, so do not assume they are included or definitively absent from a current offer without checking its itemized contents.
Filter and fluorescent hood details stop at the parts list
A named Power Filter 10 and cartridge tell us that filtration equipment is in the cataloged kit, but the item entry does not provide a flow rate, filter stages, media capacity, or measured maintenance interval. It identifies fluorescent lighting rather than LED, yet it does not state lamp output, spectrum, timer behavior, or plant-growth performance. Those limits matter if a buyer is comparing specific equipment functions rather than simply looking for a documented kit. The matching profile records the filter and hood only at the level the catalog supports. A filter is not evidence of a sump, and a lamp type is not a lighting-performance rating.
Compare the evidence with other ten-gallon glass choices
Within this reviewed set, Aqueon 17755 and All Glass Aquariums model 158005 both have source-listed ten-gallon glass identities. The Aqueon catalog adds a specific filter, fluorescent hood, and accessory list, while the saved All Glass listing leaves its equipment package undocumented. That difference may help a shopper decide which seller questions to ask; it does not prove either package is currently available or better. Other glass entries in the finder include a smaller approximate two-gallon UP Aqua and larger AJ-40B, BioCube, Seapora, and Deep Blue models. Their differences are size and documented configuration, not a ranking or animal-care recommendation.
How the finder treats the ten-gallon kit
The profile uses the catalog's ten-gallon class and glass construction, so this model appears for a capacity-flexible glass comparison and for the everyday and professional ten-gallon-plus glass paths. Its Power Filter 10 does not meet the professional finder's documented-sump requirement. It also cannot satisfy a fifty-gallon minimum, an acrylic-only preference, or a wall-mounted installation choice. Unknown finish, edge details, tank dimensions, and installation format remain unknown rather than being inferred from the brand or a neighboring Aqueon item. These outcomes follow the specific sourced values and leave the shopper to verify the exact package and space requirements.
Do not merge the catalog kit with a current LED listing
Aqueon's current Rectangle LED Kits page describes a ten-gallon LED package under SKU 100117855 and UPC 015905178556. The saved catalog entry for item 17755 gives a fluorescent hood and a different item number; no source establishes that frozen ASIN B0027J3JKK now resolves to SKU 100117855 or that one is a direct successor of the other. A shopper looking for a specific lamp type should compare the printed kit identifier, UPC, and box contents. This page preserves the distinction rather than borrowing LED-kit details for the 17755 review. The exact seller offer remains unresolved.
Use the tagged search as a model lookup
Because the historical ASIN is not verified as a current exact Amazon offer, the affiliate destination searches for Aqueon 17755 Deluxe Kit Aquarium 10 instead of linking directly to an ASIN. Search results could show old stock, a different Aqueon 10-gallon kit, a tank alone, or replacement equipment. Confirm the 17755 label, fluorescent hood, listed tank size, and current contents with the seller before treating a result as this model. The available sources do not establish current price, stock, condition, shipping package, buyer-review consensus, warranty, sales, or personal testing. Those are questions for the current listing, not facts inferred from the catalog.
What else to compare
For a current Aqueon ten-gallon LED kit, the maker's Rectangle LED Kits page separately documents SKU 100117855 and UPC 015905178556. The available sources do not establish whether that item replaces 17755. Compare the kit numbers and package lists rather than treating the LED kit as the same fluorescent model.
Before you buy
What does Aqueon item 17755 include according to the catalog?
The catalog lists a Size 10 glass aquarium, Power Filter 10 and medium cartridge, 20-inch Deluxe Fluorescent Hood and bulb, setup and care guide, conditioner, food, fish net, and digital thermometer. Verify the current seller's exact box contents.
What are the aquarium dimensions?
The 17755 catalog block gives carton dimensions but not tank dimensions. A 20 × 10 × 12-inch measurement appears under neighboring Basic Kit item 17750 and is not applied to this Deluxe model.
Is Aqueon 17755 the same as the current Aqueon 10 LED kit?
No crosswalk is established. Aqueon's current LED page lists SKU 100117855 / UPC 015905178556, while the catalog names fluorescent item 17755. Confirm the exact model and package rather than assuming they are the same.
Why is the Amazon destination a search link?
The frozen historical ASIN is not verified as a current exact offer. The tagged search names item 17755 so a buyer can compare any result's model label and package.
Where can I check the current price?
Use the Amazon link for current offers. Check the exact model, seller, product condition, delivery, and return terms. This page does not display a live price or confirm stock.

The decision
Aqueon 17755 is a catalog-identified ten-gallon glass aquarium kit with a Power Filter 10, medium cartridge, fluorescent hood and bulb, and listed setup accessories. The source does not give the aquarium's dimensions, and no current exact Amazon offer or seller package is verified. It qualifies for ten-gallon-plus glass comparisons but not a sump-only path. Use the tagged model search, check the printed item number and box contents, and confirm dimensions before planning a stand.
