Our take
American Lawn Mower Company’s 50514 is a documented 14-inch, 11 A corded push mower. The exact product page gives five height positions from 1 to 2.5 inches, a 16-gallon hard-top bag, mulching and side-discharge functions, and folding handles. This is a compact electric option for someone whose outlet and cord path fit the work area. The 16-gallon bag converts to about 2 U.S. bushels, but the maker’s description of a 2-in-1 side-discharge and mulching system does not separately explain bagging as a mode. The historical Amazon row is Renewed, so its condition and package must be checked.
A shopper who wants a narrow corded push mower and can verify that the Renewed listing includes the catcher and required parts..
Choose another format if an extension cord is impractical, if you need self-propelled drive, or if a seller-verified new complete package is essential.

Full review: how the features affect your choice
What the features mean for you
Compact width and an explicit push drive
The maker’s model page lists a 14-inch cutting width and describes 50514 as a corded push mower. That width may fit a buyer’s access constraint, while the push format means the operator supplies forward movement. It should not be scored as self-propelled or treated as equivalent to a 20- or 21-inch mower for pass width. The maker does not provide a measured time or area claim, so the width is a documented dimension only. Consider the route and the extension cord together when deciding if this compact format works.
Five settings and a stated catcher size
American Lawn Mower Company gives a 1-to-2.5-inch cutting range with five height positions. It also lists a hard-top 16-gallon grass bag, equivalent to about 2 U.S. bushels using the standard eight-gallon bushel conversion. The published capacity is a useful comparison value, though actual emptying frequency depends on how much grass is cut and what mode is used. The source does not describe a separate bagging mode as clearly as it names mulching and side discharge, so the profile preserves that wording rather than assume every listed accessory is an operating mode.
Two clipping modes and a bag caveat
The product details call the 50514 a 2-in-1 mower for side discharge and mulching, and they list the 16-gallon grass bag as an included component. Those statements establish a catcher and two named functions, but they do not clearly say how the bag relates to the mode count. The profile records side discharge as confirmed and describes the bag without claiming a separately documented bagging mode. If bagging is a hard need, inspect the mower instructions and the exact offer contents before buying. This is a documentation boundary, not a judgment about how well the mower handles clippings.
Cord management and foldable handles
The 11 A motor is powered by a cord, so the practical fit depends on outlet access and the route the cord will travel. The manufacturer also lists folding handles, which can matter for storage, though no folded dimensions are provided. Since the historical source row is Renewed, the maker page does not establish the exact condition of the seller’s mower or whether all listed components remain with it. Check for the catcher, deflector, power cord requirements, and model code. The article does not claim that corded mowing is easier or harder than another format.
Verify the Renewed offer against SKU 50514
The American Lawn Mower page identifies SKU 50514, but it does not map the historical Amazon ASIN to a renewed configuration. The manufacturer’s product facts can support a model-level comparison without proving that a current seller includes the same bag or other accessories. The affiliate destination is therefore a tagged search for the model, not a direct ASIN link. Match the SKU, cutting width, motor rating, catcher, and seller condition before ordering. Avoid importing facts from a similar manual reel model simply because it shares the American Lawn Mower brand.
