Our take
AAXA's non-MAX LED Pico+ is a battery-oriented 720p projector for small, dark-room use. Its brochure lists native 1280 × 720, 30 lumens, and up to two hours in Eco mode, along with manual focus, wireless mirroring, USB/TF playback, and digital video input. The brightness figure is not ANSI-labeled, and the saved source does not establish an app platform or throw ratio. That makes it a travel-friendly format choice when modest image size is acceptable, not a bright general home-theater projector. Confirm the exact LED Pico+ label because AAXA also sold a separate MAX model.
Personal battery-powered projection for small, dark-room viewing with a compatible external source or local media.
It is not suitable for bright rooms, a large screen, a verified ANSI-output threshold, built-in streaming apps, or an unmeasured ultra-short-throw placement.
Pros & cons
What could work for you, and what to consider before buying.
What works in its favor
- AAXA specifies native 1280 × 720 imaging and an Eco-mode battery claim up to two hours.
- USB/TF playback and wireless mirroring allow more than one portable source approach.
- Its RGB LED illumination avoids a conventional replaceable projection lamp.
What to weigh up
- The 30-lumen claim is not labeled ANSI and should not be compared as an ANSI rating.
- The saved brochure does not specify a throw ratio or built-in streaming-app platform.
- The historical LED Pico+ must be distinguished from the separate LED Pico+ MAX model.

What the features mean for you
Plan a short session around the battery mode
AAXA rates the LED Pico+ for up to two hours in Eco mode. That supports a short personal session away from a power outlet, but the brochure's maximum runtime is a model claim rather than a guarantee for every operating mode or battery age. Use Eco mode and the stated duration as a planning reference, then test the specific battery if it is important for a trip or presentation. A small battery projector can be easier to carry than a fixed-room model, but the limited runtime is a real constraint for a long movie. Keep a charging option available when the session may run longer.
Use native 720p as the detail limit
The AAXA brochure identifies native 1280 × 720 resolution. That gives the LED Pico+ a known 720p image format, while a connected source may still send a different input resolution. Native pixels set the detail the imaging device can reproduce; input compatibility does not upgrade it to Full HD. The difference is easier to notice with fine text, detailed slides, and large images than with simple video viewed from a distance. Choose it for personal portable viewing if 720p meets the plan, and consider a higher-resolution model if the main use is text or a large home screen.
Keep the 30-lumen wording separate from ANSI
AAXA lists 30 lumens for the LED Pico+, but the brochure does not label that value ANSI. This guide preserves the published figure without using it as a comparable ANSI attribute. It points toward a modest image in low ambient light rather than a bright-room installation. Image size and surface, room light, source mode, and individual unit condition affect how visible a picture appears. The numeric claim alone does not establish a usable result for every screen size. If comparison to a specific ANSI threshold matters, use projectors whose model documents clearly identify ANSI lumens and do not convert this figure.
Select a source path before packing it
AAXA documents wireless mirroring and USB/TF local playback, as well as a digital video input. The options make the unit flexible for a compact personal setup, but they are not proof of built-in streaming apps. Mirroring may depend on the phone, operating system, and content-protection rules, while local files depend on the supported formats and storage card. Check a known file or source before leaving home and bring the cable or adapter required by the device. The different source paths are practical conveniences, not substitutes for a documented smart-TV platform.
Do not guess the lens position
The reviewed brochure does not provide a verified throw ratio for the LED Pico+. It therefore cannot be classified as ultra-short throw from its compact shape or portable description. Work out the intended image size and verify distance using model-specific placement guidance before selecting a shelf or tripod. The brochure does state a 10-to-60-inch image-size range; that does not tell you the exact wall distance or guarantee the same appearance at each size. Manual focus requires a clear, stable position after placement. Preserve this placement unknown until a source documents the optics.
Check the model revision and used accessories
AAXA's archive distinguishes LED Pico+ from LED Pico+ MAX, so the exact product name matters when comparing a listing with the brochure. Verify the model marking, battery charging, focus control, video input, memory-card playback, and supplied adapter on the specific unit. The RGB LED light source and original battery rating describe model features, not the condition of an older example. The saved source does not establish the contents of the historical candidate package or a current offer. This review is a source-based assessment and does not claim that an individual projector was tested.
What else to compare
For a built-in battery with a separately documented native 1080p image, compare the Miroir M1200S; for a non-battery home model with an ANSI rating and Android TV, compare the ETOE D2 Pro.
Before you buy
Is the LED Pico+ native 1080p?
No. AAXA's brochure lists native 1280 × 720 resolution.
Are its 30 lumens ANSI?
The brochure gives a 30-lumen claim without labeling it ANSI, so this guide leaves comparable ANSI output unknown.
Is LED Pico+ MAX the same model?
No. AAXA's archive distinguishes the LED Pico+ from the separate LED Pico+ MAX revision.
