- Samsung Global separately reports a 3.8-hour standalone maximum, which is relevant to phone-free listening only when music has first been transferred and current transfer software is available.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The same Samsung Global interview gives only a 1.6-hour maximum for phone Bluetooth streaming; neither historical figure is a codec-specific or ANC-on result, and neither estimates an old unit’s remaining capacity.
- ANC status, Bluetooth codec, standard IP rating, USB connector subtype, current app path and a resale unit’s package/condition are not established. No listening, fit or battery test was performed.
Check these before ordering
- Confirm the U.S. Black SM-R150 order code and that both earbuds belong to the same working set; do not substitute the 2018 SM-R140N generation.
- Ask the seller to demonstrate each earbud charging, standalone playback, Bluetooth streaming and charging-case recharge; a power light does not establish battery capacity.
