Google Pixel Buds A-Series — Clearly White is an earlier U.S.-launched sealed in-ear configuration with no ANC, earbuds-only IPX4 and a USB-C case without wireless charging. The five-hour music maximum is a qualified 2021 estimate, not ANC runtime or a used-battery condition report.

Assessment scenario: Earlier sealed no-ANC earbuds with IPX4 buds and wired case

An editorial scenario for an earlier sealed in-ear configuration without ANC, with the exact IPX4-headset-only boundary and a USB-C case confirmed to lack wireless charging. This describes published model facts, not a visitor’s intent, personal fit, present offer or older-battery condition.

Why consider this model?

  • Google’s 2021 launch describes a sealed tip fit with a stabilizer arc; the support package lists S/M/L tips with M preloaded. These facts classify the wearing style but do not guarantee a personal seal or comfort.
  • Google’s exact-model feature matrix says A-Series has no ANC. Adaptive Sound adjusts volume with surroundings, and passive noise reduction is separate from ANC.
  • Google’s support sources list USB-C case charging, no wireless case support and IPX4 for the earbuds only; the case’s water rating is not stated.
  • The original Google support package list includes the earbuds, case, three tip sizes, USB-C-to-USB-A cable and Quick Start Guide. The source record does not expose a finish-specific complete-unit U.S. SKU.

Tradeoffs to weigh

  • This is an earlier model. Google’s old U.S. product route now redirects to Pixel Buds 2a, but this does not establish a discontinuation date or the availability, condition, warranty or battery health of any current seller offer.
  • Google lists up to five hours of music per charge and 24 hours with the case; the original launch note says the figures are approximate preproduction estimates with other features disabled. The earbuds have no ANC, so these are not ANC-on hours.
  • Google’s checked A-Series materials do not explicitly name SBC, AAC, LDAC or LC3, and the feature table does not list LE Audio. Codec-specific support therefore remains unknown rather than inferred.
  • The A-Series lacks two-device Multipoint. Google lists Audio Switch separately, which is not evidence of two concurrent connections.
  • Google names four support color options, but did not surface complete-unit U.S. finish-specific SKUs; its replacement page covers a single left or right bud only.
