- Apple identifies the first-generation Pro 1 earbuds and specifies silicone tip sealing, Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode; a published feature does not guarantee a personal seal or cancellation result.
- The original 2019 A2190 case supports Qi wireless charging and Lightning. Apple distinguishes it from the later MagSafe-alignment case even though the model number and exterior are shared.
- Apple lists up to 4.5 listening hours on one charge with ANC; the case claim is more than 24 listening hours overall, not a continuous ANC session.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- This is an earlier package, not a current AirPods Pro offer or evidence of present resale stock. A used cell may fall far below the historic manufacturer maximum.
- The IPX4 statement applies to the Pro 1 earbuds; the case rating is not established. Do not swim or shower with the earbuds or charge them wet.
- This 2019 case is Qi/Lightning without the later documented MagSafe-alignment function. Both versions use A2190, so verify the actual case serial suffix, not appearance alone.
- The reviewed source pages do not establish generic Bluetooth codec support, two-device multipoint, seller condition, remaining battery health, current warranty or service eligibility.
Check these before ordering
- Confirm the earbud model numbers A2083/A2084 and the case number A2190; check that the case serial suffix is 0C6L or LKKT for the original 2019 version.
- Ask the seller to show that Qi charging works and inspect the Lightning port, hinge, pairing behavior, both batteries, microphones and ANC/Transparency switching; no hands-on check was performed for this assessment.
- Verify which S/M/L tips and Lightning-to-USB-C cable are actually included, then check cleaning, return window, written warranty and battery-health terms. Do not treat Apple’s historical three-year sound-service program as current coverage.
