Why consider this model?

  • A research-supported medium/large-room camera option where procurement or a radio-restricted deployment calls for exact No-Radio TAA/NDAA part 960-001669, the system will run in a supported USB computer mode, and separate AC power and room placement are available.

Tradeoffs to weigh

  • This variant is deliberately less flexible: Logitech says it has no Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/radio components, no remote control, no Tap IP support and no Android/appliance mode. It is certified only for USB mode; 4K30 USB is MJPEG, not every pixel format, and conferencing applications control in-call output. No built-in physical shutter or focus classification is documented.
