Part 60010 is the brass-head Recon Mini package: rechargeable bike pump, a direct two-piece Presta head, separate Schrader hose, ball needle and preset stop. It is the three-Mini option without the aluminum head or carrier bundle.

Assessment scenario: Rechargeable bicycle inflation with a Presta head and preset stop
A source-based assessment scenario for a rider who wants an internal-battery bicycle pump, an included Presta-capable route and preset stopping. The nine matching plans include EVC battery models, standard Mini/SL heads, carrier packages and two Clik carrier packages with Presta-core conversion kits. The bare 60010-CA and 60014-CA Clik pumps do not include those cores and therefore are not treated as ordinary Presta-ready. VIAIR's Mini material gives a 5–7 minute maximum run window and named road/gravel/MTB examples; Clik-specific display increments are not accuracy claims. This is not a passenger-car or reliable tubeless-seating claim.
Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- The exact VIAIR selector identifies 60010 as the standard brass-Presta configuration; its listed controls stop at a chosen target, while the actual reported display accuracy remains ±1 PSI.
- VIAIR publishes a 2–120 PSI range and says the full battery supports three 30 mm road tires from 0–70 PSI, three 45 mm gravel tires from 0–40 PSI, or three 2.4-inch MTB tires from 0–20 PSI, with some top-up charge. Those are maker examples, not independent tests or a general capacity guarantee.
- Its direct supplied Presta head, separate Schrader hose and internal battery suit a narrowly documented bicycle setup; the separate hose does not establish passenger-car use or the finder’s press-on/twist-on chuck style.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The manual’s maximum 5–7 minute running window depends on ambient conditions; warm temperatures may reduce it. The manufacturer scenarios are not a benchmark for another starting pressure, tire size or work load.
- VIAIR says the Mini is not designed as a tubeless-seating device; a limited “may reseat in some cases” caveat is not a general tubeless guarantee. The sources reviewed here do not document passenger-car use.
- Do not count the included ball needle alone as proof of a sports-ball operating plan. This package is not the 60010-CA Clik variant, whose included contents differ. No while-charging operation is asserted.
Check these before ordering
- Confirm the exact 60010 brass-head SKU, rather than 60010-CA Clik, 60014 SL, or a 62010/Clik carrier selector package.
- Check that the specific offer includes the 60010 head and the listed Schrader hose, cable and accessories; the manufacturer page distinguishes the Clik package contents.
- Compare your bicycle tire-maker target with the small pump’s pressure/running limits; do not treat maximum PSI, a needle or the feature name as compatibility proof.
- Charge as instructed, use the Mini manual’s attended-use and hot-attachment precautions, and select a different explicitly designed pump for tubeless seating.
