- The exact product selector lists 62010 as “Recon Carrier + Recon”; the current package page separates this standard 60010 + carrier system from 62014, 63010-CA and 63014-CA.
- The included pump is the 60010, so the maker’s 2–120 PSI range, ±1 PSI accuracy claim, 5–7 minute maximum run window and three specific road/gravel/MTB battery examples apply; they are attributed claims, not independent tests.
- The carrier is designed for Recon Mini models and VIAIR says it fits most top tubes, seat tubes and saddle rails. That is a broad mount claim, not a guarantee for every frame or clearance.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The 62010 is not an upgraded compressor: the package adds the 61020 carrier around the same 60010 pump, battery and operating limits.
- The carrier page’s approximate 95 g “complete system weight” is ambiguous as to whether it includes the pump, so this landing makes no total mounted-weight claim.
- The 62010 is not the aluminum-head 62014 or the 63010-CA/63014-CA Clik configurations. Check seller variant; Clik contents are not interchangeable.
- The Mini is not designed for tubeless seating and its reviewed evidence is bicycle-specific; it is not documented as a passenger-car pump.
Check these before ordering
- Confirm the exact 62010 SKU and that both the 60010 brass-head compressor and 61020 carrier are in the offer.
- Check your actual frame/rail diameter, clearances and mount point; “fits most” is not a fit list. Ask VIAIR whether the 95 g “complete system” weight includes the compressor if total mass matters.
- Use the 60010 manual for battery, selected pressure, run-time and hot-attachment instructions. The carrier does not lengthen the pump’s operating time.
- Choose the 62014 or Clik selector choice only if that exact pump/head interface is intended; do not infer accessory transfer from the 62010 image.
