Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A Bosch 18V owner wants a short, 4.4 lb bare-tool saw for access-limited tasks or overhead positioning, but intends to use the two-handed grip specified in the GSA18V-083 instructions. The exact page lists two blades and confirms the compact body's 0.83-inch stroke and 0–3,050 no-load SPM.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- This is a bare-tool package: no battery, charger or case is listed, and the documented 4.4 lb value is the saw without its battery. Compact means short and light here, not one-handed operation; orbital action and an adjustable pivot shoe are not established by the exact page and manual.
