Assessment scenario: Two slices with user-selected Bagel and Defrost
A two-slot routine requiring the separately documented Bagel and Defrost controls; both are user-selected after starting the cycle, and neither slot fit nor a measured toast result is promised.
Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- The exact U.S. pages identify each finish/model code; their shared linked 840374400 guide names both models together as 120 V / 60 Hz / 700 W.
- Both exact pages document two conventional wide openings, seven manual shade positions, and separate Bagel and Defrost buttons. The manual says to press each after a cycle starts; Defrost is not automatic sensing.
- The two exact pages publish the same outside body size: 6.7 inches wide, 10.4 inches deep and 7 inches high.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- “Wide slot” is not a numeric aperture or maximum-food guarantee; usable slot measurements and maximum slice size remain unknown.
- One shade selector serves both slots; separate pair settings, automatic frozen detection and a one-sided Bagel heat pattern are not documented.
- No hands-on performance, speed, durability, or noise testing is represented.
Check these before ordering
- Check that the exact appliance label and finish say 22660 White or 22661 Red; do not rely on a generic two-slice listing.
- Confirm the offer’s package, manual, rating label, seller, condition, warranty eligibility, returns and current availability directly with the seller.
- Compare the outside body dimensions with the maker’s clearance instructions, cord route, room to load food and rear crumb-tray access.
- For an older unit, ask the manufacturer to check the exact bottom-label series code; the saved 2008 notice is not a unit-specific recall clearance.
