Assessment scenario: Earlier four-slot Bagel, Defrost and Reheat toaster
Earlier-inclusive four-opening Hamilton Beach comparison with a documented Bagel mode, user-selected Defrost, short Reheat action and two pair-control groups. The exact page marks it no longer available; confirm the actual unit and body space.
Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- The exact page and image identify four conventional openings and two pair-level control groups, not four independently shaded slots.
- The exact page lists Bagel, Defrost, Reheat and Cancel; the linked T85 manual describes Reheat as a 30–50 second action and 120 V / 60 Hz / 1500 W.
- Its published body is 11.3 inches wide by 11.06 inches deep; these are outside dimensions, not clearance.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The exact product page says NO LONGER AVAILABLE; this is not a seller or stock claim.
- No numeric opening size or maximum bread/bagel dimensions are published.
- The Bagel description does not establish a particular result; verify the exact model and actual food fit.
- The specific unit condition and recall-series status are unknown.
Check these before ordering
- Verify the offered label is 24790; inspect chrome finish, each control, cord, lifter, trays and condition.
- Check the individual unit/serial against the maker recall notice; ask about return rights and warranty.
- Consult Use & Care 840205203 and leave operating clearance beyond the outside body dimensions.
- Test the intended food against the actual opening; wide-slot language is not an aperture measurement.
