Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- The exact page and image support four conventional openings and two visible pair-control sections.

Tradeoffs to weigh
- Hamilton Beach marks the exact page NO LONGER AVAILABLE; this is not a seller or stock claim.
- The guide’s Bagel and Defrost controls do not guarantee food fit, simultaneous-mode behavior or a preferred browning result.
- No numeric opening aperture or maximum bread/bagel dimensions is published.
- The exact unit’s condition and model-specific recall-series status remain unknown.
Check these before ordering
- Verify the offered toaster is labeled 24781 and inspect the actual chrome finish, controls, cord, lever, crumb trays and condition.
- Confirm the exact unit/serial against the current maker recall notice and ask the seller about return rights and any warranty.
- Use the 840218105 guide for placement and operation; outside body size does not include safe clearance, loading or tray access.
- Check the actual bread against the openings rather than treating “extra-wide” as a maximum-size specification.
