Black U.S. MOMENTUM 5 Wireless listing, selected as store SKU 800078 and model M5AEBT. Manufacturer sources describe hybrid adaptive ANC, Bluetooth 5.4 with two active device connections, up to 57 hours of ANC-on Bluetooth playback and a replaceable battery. Passive analog playback is left unresolved because the instruction manual and support FAQ conflict about use with an empty battery.

Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A documented fit for someone seeking a current over-ear ANC headset with two active Bluetooth connections, a manufacturer-listed 57-hour ANC-on maximum, digital USB-C audio or a powered analog cable route.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The 57-hour figure is a manufacturer maximum under a stated test condition, not guaranteed runtime. The passive-cable instructions conflict: the manual says to use the cable when the battery is empty, while Sennheiser support says the M5 must be powered on and cannot be used passively. This assessment does not certify battery-free playback. The user-replaceable battery also does not make replacement effortless or risk-free.
