A distinct current-reference closed-back over-ear ANC model with magnesium drivers, Bluetooth 5.2 multipoint and separate 3.5 mm and USB-C DAC routes. Focal rates its Bluetooth ANC arrangement up to 30 hours; the wired modes have different limits and unresolved ANC-runtime wording.

Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A documented fit for a current-reference buyer seeking a premium closed-back ANC headphone with simultaneous two-device Bluetooth and separate analog and USB-C DAC routes. The source-backed distinction from original Bathys is the magnesium-only driver dome and Bluetooth 5.2, not a measured sound or noise-cancellation advantage.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- At 350 g and with a genuine-leather headband, material and fit preferences deserve a return-policy check. Jack playback requires the powered headset, its ANC operation over that cable is not explicitly confirmed, and Focal's USB-DAC maximum is inconsistent between its specifications and FAQ.
