Why consider this model?

  • A home lab, media library or small team that wants six native SATA positions, a documented owner-created two-drive RAID 1 option and a 2.5GbE single-port path, and is prepared to verify individual drive models, network gear and the exact seller package.

Tradeoffs to weigh

  • It has no built-in 10GbE port: two 2.5GbE ports are not a single 5GbE connection, and link aggregation cannot guarantee a faster individual transfer. The product page states 132TB raw as 6 x 22TB, while the current exact-model compatibility table lists recommended 32TB and 30TB drive models; this does not prove an all-six-drive configuration, so no ceiling is claimed. The two M.2 sockets are specified for caching rather than counted bays, and drives plus array setup must be planned separately.
