The four-SATA-bay F4-425 Pro N305 configuration has three separate M.2 2280 NVMe positions and two individual built-in 5GbE ports. The official product page lists both Gunmetal Grey and Silver versions; its N305 memory-generation copy conflicts between those finishes.

Why consider this model?

  • A buyer who wants a current four-tray SATA NAS, a single built-in 5GbE path and separate M.2 NVMe positions, and who will check the exact N305 memory/finish variant and compatible drives before ordering.

Tradeoffs to weigh

  • The N305 configuration's RAM generation conflicts across finish-specific manufacturer copy, the page's 120-TB and 152-TB raw-storage descriptions use different definitions, and the M.2 compatibility table is not a guarantee for every module in all three slots. The two-drive TRAID example is an owner-created option, not an included mirror or backup.
