Tradeoffs to weigh
- Eighteen positions does not mean eighteen HDD trays: the six smaller positions are SATA SSD-only. The dual 10GbE SFP+ ports require compatible optics or DAC, switch and peer; the 2U chassis needs separately purchased RAIL-B02 rails. Data drives are not listed as included. QNAP’s product-page warranty wording (three years, extendable) and user-guide wording disagree on term, so check the written coverage for the exact regional package.
