Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A current-reference fit for a computer-based studio that needs a wider 61-note range, per-key polyphonic aftertouch, modern USB-C and direct DIN hardware routing in one keyboard.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- At a published body width of about 38.09 inches and 13.23 lb, it is a larger desk commitment than the S49, while remaining much narrower in playing span than the S88. Its semi-weighted TP/90 bed differs from the S88's fully weighted hammer-action TP100. It still requires software or external sound generation, and the USB-A-only hookup needs additional power equipment.
