Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A desk setup that benefits from a simple open-rail riser with a fixed 16-degree support angle, two support heights and a manufacturer-stated 5 kg load ceiling. Check the laptop feet and contact points against the separated rails; the stated 13-, 15.6- and 17-inch examples are not a chassis-fit chart.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The two support arms are fixed at different heights; the stand does not provide a selectable height range or a documented folding travel mechanism. The manufacturer datasheet conflicts with itself on the overall depth/width and product mass, so those values should be confirmed rather than reduced to one figure. The Lenovo retailer number 78228496 is not formally cross-referenced to the StarTech product ID on its page.
