Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A compact open-device desk stand for users who confirm their exact laptop or tablet against the R1-specific compatibility guidance. Satechi documents two articulated hinges and a fold-flat form, but does not publish a laptop fit chart or a numerical vertical-rise range.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- Do not infer laptop compatibility from the 4-to-13-inch mobile-device statement: the older guide names MacBook 2015/2016 and Surface Pro 4, while current compatibility material excludes many newer MacBooks. The 270-degree mount and 180-degree base hinges are not a documented swivel turntable. Folded dimensions, supported laptop thickness and maximum laptop weight are not published; the manufacturer page displayed Sold Out on 2026-11-01.
