Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- Best aligned with a desk routine that stores a closed laptop upright while a separate external monitor serves as the display. Rain Design lists two finish SKUs, one-piece aluminum construction, included rubber fit adapters and a 0.61–0.75-inch supported total-thickness range.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- This is not an open-laptop riser and it does not adjust, fold or swivel. It depends on a closed-laptop/external-display arrangement, and the laptop's total thickness must fall within the stated range with the correct fit adapters. No maximum load or broad non-Apple fit chart is published.
