Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- Manual benchstone work for someone who wants a maker-described coarse repair face plus a fine maintenance/finishing face, including listed kitchen-blade use, and is comfortable holding the bevel by hand.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- No numeric angle guide or blade-clearance chart is published; the coarse-face grit differs between the exact current page and Lansky's 2022 catalog, the maker does not document a serration/scissor procedure, and strop inclusion is unstated.
