Why consider this model?

  • An earlier RYOBI 18V ONE+ owner seeking the P5231's documented orbital jigsaw, wood-cutting blade, variable 1,100–3,000 SPM range, BladeSaver drop base, and 0–45° bevel adjustment. This is a source-based assessment, not a claim about present availability or cutting results.

Tradeoffs to weigh

  • P5231 is discontinued and sold as a bare tool. The retrieved exact product/support page text does not establish its blade shank, straight-action mode, orbital setting chart, dust route, maximum cutting depth, or workpiece thickness; compatibility must not be borrowed from a different RYOBI model.
