An earlier Bosch 1584VS body with a barrel grip, slide switch, six-position preset speed dial, four orbital positions and a three-position chip blower. Its shared Bosch manual documents a bevel shoe and a T101B blade example; unlike the 1584DVS, it does not document an integrated dust port or external-vacuum route for this suffix.

Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- An earlier corded barrel-grip choice for someone who wants Bosch's six-position preset speed dial, four orbital positions, three-stage chip blower and a footplate that tilts up to 45 degrees—but does not require a documented external-vacuum setup.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The exact 1584VS body and its shared manual are supported, but no external-vacuum route is documented for this suffix. The general seller package and each surviving unit's electrical nameplate remain unknown, and no current stock, seller condition, tested performance or U-shank acceptance is established.
