An earlier Bosch 1584AVS body with a barrel grip, slide switch, six-position preset speed dial, four orbital settings and a three-position chip blower. Bosch documents a separate optional dust-collection adapter for this suffix and a 45-degree bevel shoe; the exact retail package and any specimen's electrical nameplate still need checking.

Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- An earlier corded barrel-grip Bosch for someone who wants a preset 500–3,100 SPM range, manual-guided orbit choices, a named T101B/T-shank example, a cutline blower and a tilting shoe. External vacuum collection is a separate optional setup, not standard equipment.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The model is not a current-stock or tested-performance recommendation. No single 1584AVS specimen nameplate, generic AVS box inventory, U-shank acceptance, or exact seller condition is established; the optional dust adapter also changes the bevel/collection arrangement.
