Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A good candidate for riders who want app-controlled, wheel-off direct-drive training, the higher KICKR v6 manufacturer-stated power and grade limits, and an 11-speed cassette already fitted—provided the bike's frame, axle and drivetrain work with the exact package.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The bike's rear wheel must come off and the 11-28 Shimano-HG cassette is not universal; frame fit still needs an exact check, and at 47 lb unboxed this is not a light trainer to move between rooms.
