Why consider this model?

  • A candidate for a rider who wants an earlier direct-drive trainer with the Zwift Cog already installed and Click in the exact US package, and who intends to use the supported Zwift virtual-shifting setup.

Tradeoffs to weigh

  • The Cog/Click virtual-shifting experience is Zwift-specific; other training apps require removing the Cog and supplying a compatible cassette. The exact US importer calls this XR-T while Elite's current technical sheet calls the package Direto XR, so verify MPN 0171015EXUE and box contents.
