Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- Aura lists an 11.8-inch, 1600 × 1200 LCD, physical portrait/landscape adjustment, anti-glare labeling and an included tabletop stand for the exact Astra 12-inch model.
- Aura documents remote cloud contributions through app, email, web uploader and connected photo services; its technical requirements call for internet-enabled Wi-Fi and mains power.
- Aura says Astra has unlimited cloud photo/video storage without a required frame subscription, and lists both 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The frame is not cordless: Aura requires an outlet and continuously internet-connected Wi-Fi; the app and Aura account are required for setup.
- The sources do not establish local-card/USB storage or cached-photo behavior during an outage, and no wall mount is listed as included.
- Astra shares its detailed screen size and resolution class with Aspen; its distinguishing feature is the crystal-set Moonstone surround. Aura lists two different orders for its three outside-dimension figures, so tight-fit clearance should be confirmed.
Check these before ordering
- Match the exact US model Astra 12-inch, Moonstone White with Mat, SKU AFM210-SWW; do not substitute Aspen or another Aura family.
- Confirm the current US package includes the tabletop stand and appropriate power components; the official page does not enumerate every cable or adapter.
- Resolve the dimension-axis order with the current seller/package before a tight shelf fit, and confirm internet Wi-Fi, mains power and a compatible iOS/Android setup device.
- If local-media import, outage playback, cordless placement or wall installation is essential, obtain explicit current documentation before ordering; this assessment does not establish those capabilities.
- Check the live seller, exact package, return terms and warranty; this page does not report price or availability.
