Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- Aura documents an 11.8-inch, 1600 × 1200 4:3 LCD that automatically supports portrait and landscape placement; its included stand is described for tabletop use.
- Aura lists an anti-glare display, remote photo sharing through its cloud, and support for both 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
- Aura says unlimited cloud photo/video storage is available without a required frame subscription.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The frame depends on Aura’s app/account, cloud, an internet-connected Wi-Fi network and mains power; 5 GHz support does not make it usable without internet.
- Local-media support and already-cached photo behavior during an outage are not established by the reviewed sources.
- Aura lists Aspen as a tabletop-oriented frame and does not list a bundled wall mount; verify the complete package and intended placement.
Check these before ordering
- Match the exact US Aura Aspen 12-inch family and choose the intended finish: Carbon with Paper Mat (package may say Ink), SKU AFM210-MBLK; or Sandstone with Paper Mat (package may say Clay), SKU AF210-MWHT.
- Check the offer image and full frame dimensions (12.7 × 10.1 × 1.1 inches); 11.8 inches is the listed screen diagonal, not the outside width.
- Confirm a working outlet and internet-connected 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi at the planned tabletop location, and that the setup person accepts the Aura app/account requirements.
- Verify the exact seller’s stand, power supply, return terms and warranty. This page does not report a price or current availability.
