Why consider this model?

  • Humanscale lists Jet Black EDEBB, Silver EDEBS and Arctic White EDEBW with Desktop Base; the live configurator separately offers X and Y Technology Base options.
  • The exact images show two linked support sections; the page gives 28-inch reach and 18-inch working height.
  • The exact-model brochure lists 5 W, 0.5 W at the low setting, 3500 K, CRI 85, seven dimming levels and 50,000-hour L70.

Tradeoffs to weigh

  • No 90-cm-at-500-lux width is stated and CRI 85 is below Ra 95; occupancy sensing is not established.
  • The current warranty duration is unresolved: the 2020 model brochure states ten years/24-7, an older brochure states five years, and the current web page points to general terms.
  • No clamp jaw range is stated; reach and working height do not guarantee clearance in a specific workspace.
