Why consider this model?

  • A portable, one-battery option when a 25 A output (or the distinct 5 A reduced-current mode listed for batteries up to 200 Ah) and the charger’s voltage-specific capacity ceiling agree with the battery maker. Its exact manual adds 6 V/12 V/24 V lithium iron phosphate modes for BMS-equipped batteries and a separate 12 V/24 V DC Supply mode.

Tradeoffs to weigh

  • It needs AC power and provides one battery connection, not independent banks or a permanent on-board installation. Twenty-five amps can exceed a small battery’s permitted charge rate; the manual lists its separate 5 A reduced-current mode for batteries only up to 200 Ah, so that setting does not extend to the 1,000/500 Ah rated-mode ceilings. The charger also requires dry, ventilated use and attention to Force/Supply/Repair safety warnings. NOCO’s current spec page, data sheet and manual differ on upper operating temperature, cable reach and fuse wording.
