Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A portable one-battery lead-acid task that needs selectable 6 V or 12 V operation and a choice between the 2 A and 6 A settings, provided the battery maker permits the selected rate and an indoor, supervised AC-powered setup is practical.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The 4506 is not a lithium charger, has no documented Ah range, serves one battery at a time and is not rated for rain or snow. Its 6 A maximum is a selectable capability, not proof that every compatible battery should be charged at 6 A.
