- A fit to compare when an unencrypted HDMI feed should reach the display at up to 4K60 4:2:0 while the computer records at a lower supported mode. It has HDMI loop-through and on-device microphone/headphone audio connections in addition to USB capture.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The name 'Plus' does not mean 4K capture: the product page markets a 2K capture device and the technical mode table tops out at 1080p60 for that capture target (with selected 720p120 modes). It uses the older HDMI 1.4 interface generation, despite its specified 4K60 4:2:0 input/loop-through path. No HDR capture, 4K60 recording or 1440p144 capture is documented.
