Tradeoffs to weigh
- Do not buy it for 4K60 capture: Magewell's product page caps listed capture at 4K30 and its technical output table lists 4K up to 30 fps, while the 4K60 claim applies to input/loop-through. The 1440p capture table tops out at 60 fps, not 144 fps. The actual host, USB link, OS, source format and app can change the available modes; HDR capture is not established.
